1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Mikoshi ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Mikoshi is a multi-persona AI entertainment platform that provides roleplaying characters across web, terminal, and Discord interfaces. The Service uses third-party large language models for inference.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and create an account to use paid features. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
• Generate or distribute content that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
• Share your account credentials or resell access without permission.

5. Paid Plans and Billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are issued at our discretion for billing errors.

6. AI-Generated Content

Content produced by the Service is generated by AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or offensive. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on or sharing it. The Service does not provide professional advice.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you submit. Personas you create are yours. The Service's software, branding, and system personas are owned by Mikoshi. AI-generated output may be subject to the underlying model provider's terms.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. You may delete your account at any time from settings.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mikoshi shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
